Is it safe for my pug to undergo a normal or natural birthing process?

What dangers does a natural birth present for a female pug? Are there any specific guidelines I should keep in mind with regard to the birthing process?

Due to the large diameter of puppies’ heads, most female pugs are not capable of giving birth the normal way. Forcing them to do so can lead to injury, or worse, death for both the mother and the puppies. It is advisable to instead take your pug to the vet for a caesarean section.
