Is it okay to have other animals around in my cat’s birthing room?

Will the presence of other animals in my cat’s birthing room affect my cat in a negative way? Should I remove the other animals?

It depends on what type of animals will be in the room. If it is a tank animal such as a fish or a frog, it may be harmless to keep them around. However, other mammals such as dogs, rabbits or any other pet that tends to be quite active could present as a disturbance to your cat. The birthing process should be as silent and peaceful as possible.
