Same with dogs, human beings and many other pets, allowing your cat to become overweight will present problems for it in the future. Obese cats are more likely to be diagnosed with fatty liver disease, arthritis, diabetes, heart failure, greasy coat and more. It is best that you begin to feed your cat rationed food portions immediately. Try to feed it healthier meals as well.
