According to AllthingsD, Zynga paid around $200 million to acquire the company OMGPOP, the makers of the overnight sensation Draw Something app. Current deal specifics seem to have Zynga paying $180 million, plus another $30 million or so in employee-retention payments.

The company OMGPOP had raised around $16 million over the past five years. People familiar with the company say it was recently netting around $250,000 a day from the Draw Something game — that’s after Apple takes its 30 percent cut.
