How do I block a person on Facebook?

Is it possible to block a person on Facebook? How do I do this?

There are two ways to block a person on Facebook. The first is by going to their profile page and clicking on “Report/block this person” right below their friend list. The second is by clicking on “Privacy settings” underneath “Account” on the upper right hand corner of the main Facebook page.
