Yes, you can cash checks at your local Walmart store.

However, the checks must be:
• Payroll checks
• Government checks
• Tax checks
• Walmart issued MoneyGram money orders

NOTE: There is a $5,000 cashing limit.

• For checks up to and including $1000: max. $3.00*
• For checks over $1000 up to and including $5000: $6.00*
