Does the Stock Market do better under Democrats or Republicans?

So which party has a better return on investments in the Stock Market? Do Democratic Administrations or Republican Presidents have a better a track record on the performance of Stocks during their administations?

Since 1929, history has shown that the stock market and GDP has outperformed under Democratic Presidents as compared to Republicans. In real returns, the stock market has produce real gains of 300% under Democrats, and zero real returns under Republicans as reported by the Economist.
