Can i prevent people from tagging me in photos and them showing up on my Facebook profile?

How do I stop photos I'm tagged in by my friends, from automatically showing up on my Facebook profile page?

You can't prevent them by tagging you but you can prevent others by seeing your tagged photos by going to your privacy settings.

On the Facebook Timeline profile, you can prevent posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline. This Timeline Review feature is disabled by default, but you can turn it On. Here's how:

1) Go to "Privacy Settings"
2) In the "Timeline and Tagging" section, click Edit Settings.
3) Then cllick "Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline".
4) Click the "Disabled" button, then select "Enabled".


Timeline Review controls whether you have to manually approve posts you're tagged in before they go on your timeline. When you have a post to review, the Needs Review tab will appear on your timeline when you have something to review.

Note: You can still be tagged, and tags may appear elsewhere on Facebook.
